The Insomnia of a Serial Dreamer

THE INSOMNIA OF A SERIAL DREAMER is a journey in time and places. In his latest documentary, filmmaker Mohamed Soueid is asking his friends to tell him stories with the hope to get some sleep out of it. The cumulative footage, filmed over 18 years, becomes a film, a series of wanderings unfolding over time and locations across Beirut, a tale that brushes with melancholy, yearning, tenderness, everyday camaraderie, personal histories, and an all-consuming love of cinema.
