Gedenkabend für Thomas Heise

We are dedicating this memorial evening with companions and friends to the director Thomas Heise who passed away this year at the end of May. It is supported by the Akademie der Künste – esp. Conny Klauß and Helke Misselwitz from the Film and Media Art Section – where Heise was director of the same for six years. Seeing Thomas Heise's incredibly open films as a life journey to himself and turning to him, to what we know about him: Helke Misselwitz, Peter Badel, Andreas Goldstein, Gerd Kroske, Stefan Neuberger, Saskia Walker and many others will dedicate themselves to this honest project about the director, who was frequently represented in the Berlinale Forum, with texts and film excerpts, photos and thoughts and a little night music.
