The Velvet Vampire

At an art exhibition, the young couple Susan and Lee make the acquaintance of the glamorous Diane, soon accepting her invitation to her house in the desert. The fact that Diane and Lee are openly attracted to each other only disturbs Susan at first. But then Lee begins to have doubts about strange events taking place in the inscrutable house. Surreal, psychedelic images create an atmosphere between reality and dream and full of erotic tension in the shimmering, bright desert. Voyeuristic lust is also catered for in this erotic vampire film. A huge one-way mirror installed in the guest bedroom ensures that the couple can watch themselves making love, while the hostess can observe the action from the other side. (al)
