Frank, who sometimes goes out at night as Peggy, meets Bernd. Soon they are a couple. But Frank wants to continue enjoying his sexual freedom outside the confines of home. Ripploh’s autobiographically inspired film is both an erotic, absurdly comic foray into the 1980s gay scene and a touching, thoroughly independent piece of queer cinema history.
