Tamara Stepanyan's MES FANTÔMES ARMÉNIENS, a journey back in time to the director's childhood and also through Armenian film history, which was shaped by her father, an actor, concludes the program. Stepanyan is one of the few women to become a director in her country and in a film culture, which – like so many in "eastern Europe" – bears witness to exile, the experience of war and post-socialist unrest.
