Los traidores

For his political film work, Argentinian documentarian founded the collective “Cine de la base”. Produced by the collective, the feature LOS TRAIDORES received its world premiere at the International Forum of New Cinema in 1973 and could only be shown in underground settings in Argentina. In 1976, Raymundo Gleyzer was kidnapped and murdered by the Argentinian military dictatorship. “LOS TRAIDORES is a film about Argentina’s working class, about their struggles and difficulties in applying a revolutionary ideology.” (Cine de la base)
