zu den Ticketszu dem KalenderCarlos’ family may have come from poverty, but they have managed to work their way up and now own a large share of the same sugar plantation where they were previously employed. Everyone involved stays silent in public about the true ownership status and the reasons for it though, which doesn’t mean that discreetly snide remarks aren’t made: Carlos has, for example, financed his lover’s bar, whose noise keeps up the inhabitants of the manor house at night. When the daughter of the house drives on ahead in a coupé and treats Carlos like her property, soon it's not just the two of them that have reached the end of their tethers… A melodrama inspired by Shakespeare that is surprisingly modern due to its repeated use of sardonic humor as it explores ownership relations of all kinds.
