The DAAD's Artists-in-Berlin presents: Rama Thiaw

The Senegalese filmmaker, author and producer Rama Thiaw (*1978) believes in the power of cinema as a tool for change and an expression of social commitment. For this evening film session, she has selected two films from Senegal, her activist documentary THE REVOLUTION WON'T BE TELEVISED (2016) and a milestone of African cinema, Djibril Diop Mambéty's TOUKI BOUKI (1973).
