Terms and Conditions #01: Feminist Film Practices and the Legal Framework of Moving Images

Film still from WHO IS AFRAID OF IDEOLOGY, PART 1: A deserted landscape of stones and trees, partly covered in snow.

The Harun Farocki Institut presents a two-evening screening program as part of the research project Terms and Conditions: The Legal Form of Images, an investigation into the legal matrix of artistic and cultural production. Both evenings focus on feminist film practices that address violence against marginalized subjects, aiming to find formal and narrative strategies that avoid creating further mechanisms of oppression.
