At the end of January, the Museum für Film und Fernsehen opened two new rooms, "From the Postwar Period to the Present", in its permanent exhibition. With the series "film.dialoge", the Deutsche Kinemathek presents the films in the new rooms in a conversation with the filmmakers. On October 22, director Andres Veiel will be our guest with BLACK BOX BRD (D 2001). Veiel retraces the biographies of Deutsche Bank's chief executive, Alfred Herrhausen, who was murdered by the RAF in 1989, and of the RAF terrorist Wolfgang Grams, who died during a gunfight with the police in 1993, according to official accounts through suicide. The artistic director of the Deutschen Kinemathek – Museum für Film und Fernsehen, Dr. Rainer Rother, will talk with Andres Veiel. (Oct. 22)
