DO VIDJENJA, KAKO STE? (Goodbye, How Are You?, Boris Mitić, Serbia 2008, Dec. 14) An ironically witty collage consisting of archival material, video recordings and stills from Serbia made from the 1990s to the present, which the director combines with aphorisms spoken by the voice of a first-person narrator. The film plays with the incongruity of text, image and music, and provides an at once sensitive and ruthless stocktaking of Serbian society that after the end of the war has lost its ideals.
