On the occasion of this anniversary, the Deutsche Kinemathek – Museum für Film und Fernsehen and SWR present the TATORT: HAUCH DES TODES.
In her 50th case, police detective Lena Odenthal (Ulrike Folkerts) is
onto a serial killer and risks her own life. After Nicole Heesters and
Karin Anselm, Ulrike Folkerts, in 1989, was the third and at the same
time youngest female police detective in the TATORT series. For the at
the time male dominated crime genre, a young French-type woman was
sought for, and Ulrike Folkerts was selected from more than 900
applicants. After twenty-one years, Ulrike Folkerts is still playing
police detective Lena Odenthal with great success. She is thus the
longest-serving police detective of the ARD and has now already written
television history.
Afterwards there will be a discussion with the actors Ulrike Folkerts,
Andreas Hoppe, Lars Eidinger, director Lars Montag, and other guests.
