This Austrian film made in 1922 deals with "premarital sex education" spelt out in five guidelines as the basis for a happy marriage: from the duty to report diseases to explanations related to giving birth and rules for taking care of children. Even though the second act, addressing venereal diseases and at the time leading to debates on the morality of the film and whether it should be screened, is missing in the copy of the Bundesarchiv, the film is a special document of early, "popular-scientific" educational films that gives insights into the notions of the body and morals of the time by using numerous (animated) drawings, models, live action recordings, and extensive texts.
