GIRAVOLTE

A big city adventure in Cinemascope, set under a bridge, at a flea market and in a bar at night in present-day Rome. Radio Punto Zero, the radio frequency established for the film, transmits moments of silence, impossible reportages on fashion and design, news that sound authentic, a demonstration to defend freedom, and several fantastic adventures of Egidio, a lonesome traveler. In GIRAVOLTE (Carola Spadoni, Italy 2001, June 16, in the presence of the filmmaker & June 21), everything revolves around the adventure of everyday absurdities, beyond work, paying the rent, cell phone, car, and family. An adventure full of poetry, conflicts, playful resistance, lonesomeness, tragedy, and music.
