On September 6, the DEFA-Stiftung is dedicated to the theme of banned films, bringing back to the screen a part of DEFA film history deemed lost. DIE TAUBE AUF DEM DACH by Iris Gusner, banned in 1973 and missing for a long time, was reconstructed in 2010 and will now be screened within the frame of the monthly film series of the DEFA-Stiftung. The film tells the story of three different people, united by the search for their place in society and their ideals. The director will be present after the screening for a discussion.
