For twelve years now, we have been presenting the results of the film section of the Female Artist's Funding Program awarded by the Berlin Senate's Cultural Department. Like every year, the results offer the experimental, the structural, the narrative and the documentary, with the places where such groupings overlap receiving particular attention. The Female Artists' Program doesn't just sponsor film production but also enables films to be presented in cinemas and exhibitions, or as DVDs and books. With this in mind, we will be opening the program with two works by Angelika Levi, who was able to put together a publication and present her work at Arsenal thanks to the Female Artists' Program.
