In the Jungle

In the framework of the film series accompanying the children's exhibition "In the Jungle" (4th floor of the Filmhaus), the Deutsche Kinemathek – Museum für Film und Fernsehen presents several animated and real short films. In the presence of the cameraman Dieter Hoese, we will show, among others, the film of the famous animal filmmaker Heinz Sielmann, EXPEDITION INS REICH DER GORILLAS (FRG 1957/1980) about the mountain gorillas in Congo that are in danger of becoming extinct. We will also screen the Swedish animated film by Mattias Gordon, JAGUAREN (2009), about a boy who suddenly turns into a tiger. (Jan. 30)
