UdK seminar: SO IS THIS. NOW.

SO IS THIS. NOW. is a program taking place during the winter semester that presents a discursive space for exploring film history to the time-based media and performance transition class at the Berlin University of the Arts and all other students interested in questions of representation. Is there an "institutional critique" of the cinema? When does cinema function as a "philosophical toy"? What happens when performance, the ephemeral disappearing medium, meets film? How do political bodies influence the realm of film?
