Right in the middle of a month about film history we're taking a look at the future. A lot has changed in the space between art and film in recent years and something new, a third phenomenon on, has long emerged. This is accompanied by changes in production, funding and the presentation of films and video works. In five conversations, artists, filmmakers, producers, curators and promoters will talk about the opportunities and promises of a new cultural film landscape that is no longer limited to cinemas and festivals but has entered the artistic realm. In cooperation with Medienboard and MEDIA-Antenne Berlin-Brandenburg, KW Institute for Contemporary Art and ART:FILM, a CineMart/IFFR and CPH:DOX project. (20.6., KW)
