Days of !ndia

Indian cinema means more than Bollywood. Our "Days of !ndia" season looks at Indian cinema in all its diversity. The selection comprises seven films from the past four years and includes impressive debuts by young directors, prize-winning auteur films, examinations of India’s history, contemporary Bollywood pictures, and costly studio productions as well as independent movies that have all been shown at festivals outside of India. In Hindi, Bengali, Marathi and Malayalam, they reflect the country's multilingual nature and complexity. All films will be shown with English subtitles. Entrance to all screenings is free.
