Film and Theory – Theory and Film (Winfried Pauleit)

DVD presentation: RIDDLES OF THE SPHINX (UK 1976/77) and AMY! (1980) by Laura Mulvey and Peter Wollen are available on DVD for the first time. Both RIDDLES OF THE SPHINX (1976/77) and AMY! (1980) were shown as part of the Berlinale's Forum section. Mulvey and Wollen are not primarily filmmakers but film theorists, critics and thinkers. Their joint films tried to transpose the theories for another cinema in films. The two films will be presented in their digital, restored versions. Laura Mulvey will be present (7.6.)
