Guest: DAAD Grantholder Jean-Pierre Bekolo

Cameroonian Jean-Pierre Bekolo (*1966) is currently the guest of the DAAD Berlin Artists' Program. His films exhibit highly unique forms in their critical treatment of political realities in Africa, full of creative energy, innovation, and satire. He thwarts the standard expectations of African cinema by mixing different genres and linking pop with politics.
