The first edition of the online magazine nachdemfilm, which was presented in 1999 at Arsenal, was entitled The Tremors of the Cinema. Since then, there have been 17 more editions, about laughing and crying at the cinema, about film studies or about the small form. The current edition “Feminism and Film” was published in April and the website was also relaunched. We would like to celebrate this with a program of films. The cinema continues to produce tremors. In April, the National Museum in Warsaw removed from its permanent collection the artist Natalia LL’s video CONSUMER ART, which will open our program and create the link to Katja Müller-Helle’s text from the current edition: “Noise Bodies. Bildzensur 1967/heute”. Afterwards, we will show four short films: DAS PORTRAIT, SUBJEKTITÜDE, HIS-STORY and IM PRINZIP HABEN WIR NICHTS GEGEN MÄDCHEN, which as classics of feminist film are explored in the current edition.
