In the coming months, in view of the Andrzej Wajda retrospective in December, Polish directors, authors and camerapersons will present, in addition to their own works, one film by Wajda that impressed or influenced them in a special way.
TERAZ JA (It's Me, Now, Anna Jadowska, PL 2006, March 30) One day Hanka goes shopping and doesn't return. Her partner starts searching for her. On the way, both encounter various people who, like the two, don't know where they belong.
WSZYSTKO NA SPRZEDA (Everything for Sale, Andrzej Wajda, PL 1969, March 31) A film within the film as grieving over the death of the actor Zbigniew Cybulski, who had a fatal accident in 1967 at the train station in Wrocław. The fictive story and the document of real heartfelt grief merge to an ambitious reflection of the antagonism of human and artistic existence.
