Forum Repeat Screenings at Kino Arsenal
A selection of films from this year's Forum and Forum expanded programs will be shown again at Kino Arsenal in the next two weeks.
The "Tagesspiegel" Readers' Prize
The "Tagesspiegel" Readers' Jury has awarded the 3000 Euro prize for the best film in the Forum to Hayat var by Reha Erdem.
Short Film Teddy for "A Horse is not a Metaphor"
Barbara Hammer's short film A Horse is not a Metaphor from the Forum expanded program has won the 3000 Euro Teddy Short Film prize.
Prizes: Independent Juries
The independent juries at this year's Berlinale have awarded prizes to 4 further films from the Forum program: Treeless Mountain, Cea mai fericită fată din lume (The Happiest Girl in the World), The Day After and Doctor Ma's Country Clinic.
Caligari and FIPRESCI Prize for "Love Exposure"
Sono Sion's nearly four hour film Love Exposure has won both this year's Caligari Prize and the FIPRESCI Film Critics' Prize.
Great demand for "Material"
Due to the great interest in Thomas Heise's Material, there will be another chance to see the film in an additional screening on Saturday, 14th February, at 11.00 am. Tickets are on sale now at the Berlinale box office; accredited guests may also attend.
Ludwig Schönherr: 12-hour Visual Diary
12 hours of Ludwig Schönherr's 107-hour New York working diary can be seen in a mammoth screening at Kino Arsenal on February 14th.
Forum expanded: Guided Gallery Tours
There are still places available for the Forum expanded guided gallery tours on February 13th and 14th. The tours provide the opportunity to see many of the different galleries and spaces used in this year's Forum expanded program.
"When it was Blue" with Live Accompaniment
The New York artist Jennifer Reeves will be attending the double 16mm projection of her film When it was Blue, which will be accompanied live by the Icelandic musician Skúli Sverisson, at Delphi on February 13th.
