Ann Kristin Reyels' feature debut Jagdhunde (Hounds), which picked up the FIPRESCI award in the Forum 2007, will soon be theatrically released in Germany (Oct 18, 2007) and France (Dec 12, 2007).
Forum films in theaters
Three films from the recent Forum programme will be theatrically released in Germany on 11th October: Heimatklänge (Echoes of Home) by Stefan Schwietert, Klopka (The Trap) by Srdan Golubović, and Nachmittag (Afternoon) by Angela Schanelec.
Festival hit "Klopka" with further nominations
Since its world premiere in the Forum 2007, Srdan Golubović’s Klopka (The Trap) has successfully travelled from festival to festival. Now "Klopka" has been nominated for the European Film Award and is also Serbia's Oscar candidate as best foreign language film 2007.
"Armin" official Croatian Oscar nominee
Armin by Ognjen Svilicic is the official Croatian nominee for the Academy Award (Oscar) in the "Best Foreign Language Film" 2007 category.

Films for the 38th Forum of the Berlinale can again be submitted by using the online form at the Berlinale website.
"The Halfmoon Files" on festivals and in cinemas
Philip Scheffner’s documentary essay The Halfmoon Files will be released in theatres in Germany, Switzerland and Austria on September 20, 2007. After the film had its world premiere in the Forum 2007, it has been invited to numerous international film festivals and was awarded the Prix des Mediatheques in Marseille.
Seven Forum films at Asian Women's Film Festival
The Asian Women's Film Festival (September 19–23, 2007, at cinema Arsenal, Berlin) presents recent films by female directors from eight Asian countries. The selection includes seven titles from recent Forum programs, such as Kaori Momoi's directorial debut Faces of a Fig Tree.
HARDfilms: pixels and celluloid
July offers the last chance to see the final programs of the film series HARDfilms at Cinema Arsenal, curated and presented by Maria Morata (funded by Hauptstadtkulturfonds and supported by the University of the Arts Berlin): 4th & 8th of July (Program 6) and 11th & 15th of July (Program 7).
