Four panels show 380 color photos. They were taken while projecting super8 films that were made as home movies during 1971-1973. After 35 years, the photos have taken on new meanings that they never could have had at the time. They have become historical documents of the international community of filmmakers that have in the meantime become famous as the pioneers of experimental film.

Birgit Hein, born 1942. Film work together with Wilhelm Hein 1966-1989. In 1968 co-founder of XSCREEN in Cologne, the first organization in Germany to produce events with underground films and actions. 1990-2007 professor at University of the Arts Braunschweig. She currently lives and works in Berlin.
