200 books from Wolfgang Frommel’s private library were arranged so that the titles form a new text. The books were placed on a conveyor belt so that they move from right to left through the camera lens at reading speed.

Alexandra Leykauf, born 1976 in Nuremberg, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg, the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten, Amsterdam. She has been living and working in Berlin since 2005.
