Minotaur follows the mythological figure through a labyrinth of tributes and transformations. Octogenarian choreographer Anna Halprin, pioneer of postmodern dance, has recently created an erotic dance based on Auguste Rodin’s rendering of the ancient myth. Minotaur brings to life Halprin’s artistic process, tracing an imaginary journey in which two-dimensional photographs lead into three-dimensional sculpture and finally into a (four dimensional) dance.
