The video consists of various recreations of a shot that was originally taken nine years ago, each time conveying different meanings while also trying to recreate the invading colors and feelings that its maker experienced back then, once upon a Saturday night on Monot Street in Beirut. Once Upon a Sidewalk also explores the representation of women as objects of desire and questions the medium of video itself by repeatedly manipulating parameters.
