The Forum Expanded group exhibition at silent green’s Betonhalle brings together seven artistic positions around questions of temporal and spacial gaps that need to be bridged and negotiated. The presented works range from inquiries into fraught family histories to explorations of political legacies. They offer singular perspectives on mutual experiences and invite the visitors to situate themselves in the artist’s unique vantage points: searching for memories in someone else’s images, reflecting on exile and remembrance, unearthing anecdotes of unusual alliances or immersing themselves in landscapes in and outside the human body.
