Alongside an in-depth conversation with Forum Expanded founder and long-time section head Stefanie Schulte Strathaus, two further sessions bring together practitioners and experts from the field of art and experimental cinema. One panel discusses the conditions of making and presenting artist moving image and expanded cinematic forms under the current conditions of shifts in cultural politics. Additionally, an artist talk with Alternative Monument, the collective behind the installation ALTERNATIVES DENKMAL FÜR DEUTSCHLAND, which is part of this year’s Forum Expanded exhibition, will give insights into the historical background of their work and process and highlight aspects of inclusion in their practice.
