The Return of an Adventurer, made by Moustapha Alassane, Niger’s first film director. After a visit to the United States, Jimmy returns to his African village with a suitcase full of cowboy weapons and costumes, in which he dresses his friends and even his girlfriend, who are all also big Western fans. Together they form a 'gang' and begin a Wild West game. This Western parody rails against the flight into violent images and the sort of third-rate US action movies that flood African cinemas.
