Three artists whose works were selected to be presented in Forum Expanded this year decided to withdraw their films and installations from the festival and join the call issued by “Strike Germany.”
John Greyson, Suneil Sanzgiri, and Ayo Tsalithaba issued statements outlining the reasons behind their withdrawals on their respective social media accounts: @johngreyzone, @suneil_sanzgiri, @ayotsalithaba.
We regret their decision, as we admire their work and were looking forward to showing it in Berlin. We are in contact with the artists and hope to have the chance to show their work in the future.
Forum Expanded remains a place for open dialogue, which invites and cherishes a wide range of voices and positions.
